OXINE® is a state-of-the-art formulation that controls plant pathogens in irrigation waters throughout the facility. The unique and proprietary blend of oxychloro compounds in OXINE® provides rapid, effective control of organisms such as Pythium, Phytophthora, and a host of others that affect growers.

OXINE® is uniquely effective against biofilm. It breaks biofilms attachment to surfaces then penetrates and dissolves the biofilm and attacks the organisms within. The normal results are bacteria and biofilm-free pipes, emitters and cooling pads which insures consistent water flow which can mean healthier plants.

OXINE® activation with BCI’s patented activation and delivery systems generates a solution containing chlorine dioxide with the following benefits:

Concentration Test Kit

testkitConcentration of Oxine® in process waters can be conveniently monitored using BCI’s Oxine® Test Kit.


Activation involves lowering the pH of the concentrate with phosphoric, hydrochloric or any other acid. Activation may be accomplished manually for low volume batch applications.

(On-line Activation System): Combines activation with injection into a water stream on the fly. No electricity or wiring required. Concentration from 2 to 150 ppm.
